Important: this is a notarized translation, not a certified one. USCIS requires certified translations for immigration filings — a signed statement from the translator confirming the translation is complete, accurate, and that they're competent to translate — not a notary's seal (8 CFR § 103.2(b)(3)). Ask us if your specific process needs a certified translation instead.

This is the most common mix-up we see with translations — and it can hold up an immigration filing.
A&C's document translations are notarized, confirming the translator's identity and signature. USCIS and most immigration processes require a certified translation instead — a signed statement from the translator declaring the translation is complete and accurate, and that they're competent to translate that language. No notary is required for that certification, and USCIS doesn't maintain a list of approved translators or accept notarization as a substitute (8 CFR § 103.2(b)(3)).
